Holistic services include:

Energy Healing/Meditation- Energy healing is designed to identify childhood trauma, emotional wounds, and destructive patterns. Our energy healer then addresses the source(s) of the issue, with the intention of releasing, transforming, and resolving it. Included in these sessions are opportunities for insight surrounding the clients’ life purpose and soul quality.

Breathing and Stress Reduction-Includes techniques such as brain re-patterning. AToN offers individual breathing and stress reduction classes.

Yoga and Meditation-Our yoga instructor offers individual yoga and meditation classes.

EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a optional psychotherapy for overcoming emotional trauma. While recalling painful memories the client's eyes follow the therapist's hand as it moves in various repetitive movements one to a few feet from the client's face. Although the mechanism of action is unknown, EMDR routinely results in substantial reductions in the emotional pain associated with traumatic events. These reductions often begin occurring in the first session.

Massage Therapy- Incorporating massage into a substance abuse program is advantageous in all of the stages of quitting an addiction: withdrawal, detoxification and abstinence. Skin, the largest sensory organ in our body, is our primary sense for connecting information from our external surroundings to our internal environment. Massage has the unique ability to affect all of our layers of being — from the spiritual plane all the way up to and including our body’s chemical composition. In the process of abandoning an addiction, these many parts of ourselves become fragmented. Regular massage sessions can aid the client’s awareness of his or her own body, including where and when tension exists. Being conscious of these patterns is a step toward recognizing one’s own resistance, which can lead to healthfully addressing emotions associated with cravings and stress.

Acupuncture- Acupuncture is thought to restore health by removing energy imbalances and blockages in the body. Practitioners of TCM believe that there is a vital force or energy called qi (pronounced "chee") that flows through the body, and between the skin surface and the internal organs, along channels or pathways called meridians. Acupuncture can decrease cravings for drugs and alcohol, reduce withdrawal symptoms, relieve tension, and help clients relax.

Hypnotherapy-The hypnotherapist at AToN Center specializes in helping individuals overcome addictive behaviors. He also has sub-specialties in stress-related problems and pain management. Our hypnotherapist assists each client in learning how to achieve a state of peace by guiding them into it. Once this state has been achieved, the client then receives what are called hypnotic suggestions. These suggestions will enable the client to use the power of hypnosis in their life regularly.

Personal Training- Work individually with our personal trainer in order to incorporate fitness and exercise into your recovery plan. AToN Center recognizes that each of our clients have unique needs and requirements regarding exercise, and often require an individualized format.
