Shane Hill2022-07-12Hi, I am Yvonne Hill, Shane’s wife and I currently stayed at AToN for 30 days! It was absolutely wonderful!! My husband and I researched over 50 rehab facilities and finally found AToN💞 We read so many horrific reviews on so many other rehab facilities that we were about to give up, then we found AToN! It is everything and more that you could ask for in a rehab facility! Not only is it like a five-star luxury resort but it has the best professional psychiatrists and psychologist to help you become sober! This facility has five houses and each house only has five residents at a time! I loved that our daily groups were small, about 4 to 5 people at a time with a professional addict psychologist! On top of that I was able to meet with an addict psychologist every single day one on one! Most other rehab facilities only offer once per week a one on one meeting! This facility is not the 12 step system, which brings their success rate of sobriety to 47%, verses other 12 step facilities at 5%success rate!! If you truly want to get over your addiction, whatever it is.... PLEASE go to AToN! My insurance paid for everything! And their outpatient program is wonderful! I did 35 days at AToN center and it completely changed my life. During the detox portion of my stay I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness from the nursing staff. My nurse James went above and beyond to help me get through those awful days of detox. The holistic activities offered are all AMAZING. I cannot say enough great things about all the staff members at AToN. The food will also change your life - it’s all 5 star meals. However they do not allow outside food or drink so don’t try to buy soda off Amazon and have it delivered, they won’t give it to you. It’s probably for the best you don’t have excess sugar. If you’re craving soda they have sparkling waters stocked in the fridges at all times. Make sure if you go here you get involved in all the extra activities. Breathwork, sound bowl yoga, meditation, morning and afternoon hikes, painting class etc. they are sooo amazing! I learned so much about myself and the therapists helped me get to the root of my addiction. I also made lifelong friends. The program, the clinicians, and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and insightful. From the therapists, the RNs, RAs, Chefs, Holistic providers, and excersize coaches, they are all amazingly wonderful. My experience there was something I will cherish and remember forever. I got sober at AToN and have stayed sober since graduating. It is a program that you get out what you put in. You have to be willing to do the work and trust the process. I tried to get sober on my own, and that never worked. Ask for help, check into AToN and let go. I can not thank ATON and the entire staff enough, they want you to get sober and are there every step of the way to help. If you really engage and work with them, they will work with you and change your life for the better. I was nervous at first of course, but they will make you feel right at home, safe and comfortable. The housing, the food, the staff, and the program as a whole are unbelievable, thank you AToN. A 5 star luxurious treatment center that addresses the root causes of substance use disorder. They have five beautiful houses that are always kept clean & 3 talented chefs that cook incredible food. The groups are intimate & engaging. I can’t say enough about the staff & the clinicians. They are knowledgeable, caring & non-judgmental. AToN strives to make sure all residents get their individual treatment needs met & are comfortable during their stay. I would recommend to anybody who struggles with addiction & co-occurring mental disorders.Allyson Bull2021-08-21AToN is a five-star class-act recovery center, which is excellent in combining western medicine and eastern holistics to help heal and transition the mind/body towards recovery. The center has beautiful amenities and the coursework is extensive. The center continued support with its alumni weekly support meetings. I recommend this center to anyone who is considering a recovery center.Ann Premazon2018-06-29I have had the opportunity to tour many treatment programs over the years and this is by far one of Southern California's most spectacular! Many people think Malibu when they want a high end facility, well I want to tell you this program is nestled in the country out side of San Diego and is top notch. It is beautiful, but what is most impressive is the staff. They have more doctorate level clinicians than any program I have seen. Very committed to helping executives, CEO's, business owners, and wealthy individuals find help in an atmosphere they are accustomed to living in. This program is not for individuals that cannot afford this luxury. I was impressed that they offer a range of treatment, truly designed to meet each person where they are at. With a strong non-twelve step component - it was interesting that they do not guide a person to SMART Recovery or AA, rather they teach the principals of each and help each individual find what works for them. They have a private chef, maid service, and allow executives to use their lap tops and phones. Most treatment environments restrict these as a distraction to recovery, AToN has found a balance that seems to work. I enjoyed my time on campus. There are 5 homes in an exclusive neighborhood. You can walk to each house easily. Their approach is unique and I think for the right man or woman, that suffers from alcoholism or addiction, being allowed to access what they are used to while they do their work would be very beneficial. I know if I had a loved that could afford this facility - I would not hesitate to refer them. I would like to close with the inclusive nature of services - from individual, group therapy, trauma, marriage counseling, yoga, and various fellowships - this clinical team is a well oiled machine.
