Connie Q. RN
Connie was born and raised in San Diego. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston, having the opportunity to work in Boston’s renown medical mecca. While in East Coast, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a Hematology Oncology unit at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. After relocating back to San Diego, she gained experience as an Admissions Registered Nurse for a local hospice agency. She will be pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree within the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP-PMHNP) program at the University of San Diego this upcoming Fall 2018.
Connie is a huge advocate of raising awareness and reducing the mental health stigma and plans to gain knowledge and experience in successfully improving mental health issues through individualizing treatment plans that incorporate proper psychotherapy, medication management and holistic health.
